These two logic groups were sent in for the common use case of charging an electric car:

The first logic group "Tibber API" retrieves the current hourly electricity price and the current price level. In addition, the logic group sends the current electricity price to the KNX bus.

The second logic group "Garo GLB" is able to switch the charger (wallbox) on and off and send the current charging status to the KNX bus. In addition, the current status (Not Connected, Charging, Charging Off and Charging Done) is sent to the KNX bus as text and the current charging power in kW. Another function of this logic group is to calculate the total consumed kWh of the current day and month and also transmit it to the KNX bus.

In this way, the first logic group is used sensibly to switch the charger on and off depending on the price level and thus only charge at a desired ( favourable ) price level. In addition, the read and calculated values are mapped in the CUBEVISION 2.
