Motion detector test manual

To ensure functional monitoring, it is necessary to set up a function that checks motion detectors for their function. Here is an example of how this can be triggered manually:

All motion detectors are checked for function via the input. This input activates a scene element. The scene element sends a "FALSE" to each motion detector to switch them off. A short time later, a value memory is triggered with a "TRUE", which has the status message of the same motion detector at the IN input.

After the value storage, it is evaluated whether the status is "ON" or "OFF". If the status is "ON", the motion detector has switched on again and everything is OK. If an "OFF" comes from the value memory, the motion detector has not switched and there is an error.

This logic group can be extended as desired. To do this, simply activate more outputs on the scene element and link the circuit (from OUT2 of the scene element) to the appropriate group addresses for the detector and the status. In this way, several motion detectors can be monitored and a corresponding reaction can be triggered in the event of a fault.
